Denisha Candler is an entrepreneur, mother, and the founder of Candler Companies LLC, the parent company of Indy Pink Ice Athletics.
With a passion for creating meaningful opportunities and empowering the next generation, Denisha founded Indy Pink Ice Athletics with one mission: to build an environment where young athletes can discover their confidence, develop their talents, and learn the power of believing in themselves.
Her vision extends beyond competitive cheer, pom, and dance. She believes athletics can help teach valuable life lessons about discipline, leadership, resilience, teamwork, and self-worth.

We know choosing the right athletics program for your child is an important decision. We've answered some of the most common questions to help your family get started.
💗 1. What programs does Indy Pink Ice Athletics offer?
Indy Pink Ice Athletics offers competitive cheer, pom, and dance opportunities for youth athletes. Our programs focus on athletic development, confidence, teamwork, discipline, and performance.
💙 2. Does my child need previous experience?
No! We welcome athletes with different experience levels, including beginners. Tryouts help us understand each athlete's abilities and determine appropriate team placement.
💎 3. What ages can participate?
Our planned age divisions include:
Tiny: Ages 4–6
Mini: Ages 6–8
Youth: Ages 9–11
Junior: Ages 12–14
Senior: Ages 15–18
Final divisions and placements may vary depending on enrollment and program requirements.
💗 4. When are tryouts?
Virtual Tryouts: Submissions are being accepted now!
In-Person Tryouts: Saturday, December 12, 2026.
The Indianapolis tryout location will be announced.
💙 5. How do virtual tryouts work?
Parents or guardians can email indypinkiceathletics@gmail.com to request virtual tryout instructions.
Athletes will receive guidance on the skills and movements to demonstrate in their video submission.

Competitive opportunities are part of our vision. Competition participation, events, and schedules will be announced as teams are formed and program details are finalized.
💗 7. Are uniforms required?
Team uniforms and appropriate practice attire will be part of the program. Uniform designs, ordering information, and associated costs will be communicated before families make a commitment.
💙 8. How much does it cost to join?
Registration, tuition, uniforms, and any competition-related fees will be outlined in the official program information.
Our goal is to provide families with clear pricing and payment expectations before enrollment.

We are developing our Indianapolis-area practice arrangements. Confirmed locations, practice schedules, and transportation expectations will be shared with registered families.
